A catalytic fragrance burner assembly, comprising: a porous core of foamed material a catalyst, deposited on or around the core and a wick, in communication with the porous core, and arranged to draw fuel to the core. The sintered material is a foamed metal, preferably aluminium. Also claimed is a method of manufacturing a catalytic fragrance burner assembly comprising providing a porous core of foamed material, providing a catalyst on or around the core and providing a wick in a communication with the core.
