PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers dependent on amidated gastrin-17 and glycine-extended G-17 which are the prohormones.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting the growth of the tumor cells stimulating the growth by glycine-extended gastrin-17 containing immunogen comprising peptides composed of 9 amino acids of amino terminus of gastrin-17.
