Said method comprises the steps of providing a digital representation of a shoe sole support with at least two foot support areas, each area having assigned to it an area specific indentation hardness parameter for indicating an indentation hardness, wherein said area specific indentation parameter is different from another of each of said foot support areas; and printing said shoe sole support based on said digital representation by using a 3D printer with a single filament, wherein each of said foot support areas is printed using an assigned shape structure having a corresponding indentation hardness based on said assigned area specific indentation hardness parameter for obtaining said at least two foot support areas.
