The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing of a glass ceramic material for dental applications. The method comprises: providing a first precursor comprising silicon (IV)； providing a second precursor comprising zirconium (IV)； hydrolyzing said first precursor and second precursor in solution； polymerizing of the hydrolysed first precursor and second precursor in a solvent, wherein polymers are formed； formation of colloids comprising said polymers； formation of a gel from said colloids； aging the gel； drying the gel； producing particles from the aged and dried gel, and； compacting and sintering the particles under formation of a glass ceramic material.La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un matériau en vitrocéramique destiné à des applications dentaires. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste à : fournir un premier précurseur comprenant du silicium (IV) ； fournir un second précurseur comprenant du zirconium (IV) ； hydrolyser ledit premier précurseur et ledit second précurseur en solution ； polymériser le premier précurseur et le second précurseur hydrolysés dans un solvant, des polymères y étant formés ； former des colloïdes comprenant lesdits polymères ； former un gel à partir desdits colloïdes ； vieillir le gel ； sécher le gel ； produire des particules à partir du gel vieilli et séché ； et compacter et fritter les particules lors de la formation d'un matériau en vitrocéramique.
