PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volatile agent container, capable of facilitating the replacement of a volatile agent such as an air freshener and sufficiently exhibiting an effect to volatilize the volatile agent to the outside.SOLUTION: The volatile agent container includes an inner case 1 containing the volatile agent and an outer case 2 detachably containing the inner case 1. The outer case 2 has a bottom plate 2a on which the inner case 1 is placed, and a circumferential wall 2b raised from the edge of the bottom plate 2a to surround the circumference of the inner case 1 while leaving an upper open end 2b. The circumferential wall 2b includes a plurality of cutout portions 2d formed to extend from the upper open end 2btoward the bottom plate 2a, and a pair of tongue pieces 2e provided between the cutout portions 2d to face each other across the inner case 1. Each of the tongue pieces 2e includes a protruding piece 2eprotruded toward the other opposite tongue piece 2e at a tip portion 2bcorresponding to the upper opening end 2bto prevent the dropping-out of the inner case 1.
