The base 11 and the striker 12 form a jaw for trapping a rodent, whereby the 5 striker 12 is pivotably connected to the base 11 between open and closed positions. The biasing spring 14 biases the striker 12 between the open and closed positions, and has a centre position in which on one side, the spring 14 biases the striker 12 to the open position and on the other side, it biases the striker 12 to the closed position. The trigger 13 is actuatable to pivot the striker 12 from the open position through the 10 centre position to the closed position. Actuation of the trigger 13 occurs upon pressure being applied to the trigger 13 to cause the trigger 13 to pivot relative to the base 11. The trigger 13 and the base 11 are formed as an integral moulding.1/5 10 20N 12 15 16I . ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ / ...... . /1 jjI /2 22 -- _ 31 FIGI1
