PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner which scans with a large image angle.
SOLUTION: The optical scanner scans an object region with light from a light source (1) and includes for scanning the object region: a scanning part (9) which deflects the incident light and emits the light toward the object region and a selective incident part (3) which successively selects optical paths to the scanning part and allows the light to make incident on the scanning part.
