PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical emulsion formulation stable against microbial contamination, comprising clevidipine which is a dihydropyridine hypotensive agent.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical emulsion formulation comprises an effective amount of a clevidipine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof, an antimicrobial agent existing at 0.001 to 1.5% (w/v), lipid, an emulsifying agent, an osmotic adjustment agent, and water, and in the pharmaceutical formulation, the antimicrobial agent is a chelating agent. The chelating agent is preferred to be selected from the group consisting of a salt of EDTA, sodium citrate, and a mixture thereof. The emulsifying agent is preferred to be selected from the group consisting of egg yolk phospholipids, soybean phospholipids, synthetic phosphatidyl cholines, purified phosphatidyl cholines and hydrogenated phosphatidyl choline, and mixtures of two or more thereof.【課題】ジヒドロピリジン系の血圧降下剤クレビジピンを含み、微生物混入に対して安定である、乳化型の医薬製剤の提供。【解決手段】有効量のクレビジピンまたは製薬上許容され得るその塩もしくはエステル、０．００１～１．５％（ｗ／ｖ）で存在する抗菌剤、脂質、乳化剤、浸透圧調整剤、および水を含む乳化型の医薬製剤であって、前記抗菌剤がキレート剤である、医薬製剤。該キレート剤は、ＥＤＴＡの塩、クエン酸ナトリウム、およびそれらの混合物から成る群より選択されることが好ましい。該乳化剤は、卵黄リン脂質類、ダイズリン脂質類、合成ホスファチジルコリン類、精製ホスファチジルコリン類、および水素化ホスファチジルコリン、ならびにそれらの２つ以上の混合物から成る群より選択されることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
