PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regulating the function of a TPR motif protein, a method for screening a substance for regulating the function of a TPR motif protein, and a substance for regulating the function of a TPR motif protein.SOLUTION: A method for regulating the function of a TPR motif protein includes bonding S100 to a TPR motif protein. A screening method for screening a substance for regulating the function of a TPR motif protein includes bringing a TPR motif protein into contact with a candidate substance and then analyzing the function of the TPR motif protein. Thus, a function-regulating substance for activating or inactivating the function of the TPR motif protein can be obtained.【課題】ＴＰＲモチーフタンパク質の機能の調節方法、ＴＰＲモチーフタンパク質の機能調節物質のスクリーニング方法ならびにＴＰＲモチーフタンパク質の機能調節物質を提供する。【解決手段】本発明のＴＰＲモチーフタンパク質の機能の調節方法は、ＴＰＲモチーフタンパク質に、Ｓ１００を結合させることで、ＴＰＲモチーフタンパク質の機能を調節する方法である。また、本発明のスクリーニング方法は、ＴＰＲモチーフタンパク質の機能調節物質のスクリーニング方法であって、ＴＰＲモチーフタンパク質と候補物質とを接触させ、その後、ＴＰＲモチーフタンパク質の機能を分析する。これによって、ＴＰＲモチーフタンパク質の機能を活性化する、または、不活性化する調節物質を得ることができる。【選択図】図１
