The present disclosure is related to a device that prevents the weed proliferation in growing seedlings and that therefore, are susceptible to invasion by subtracting nutrients as well as sunlight. The present disclosure is a mat of the type that is attached to an arboreal stem of variable diameter according to its growth, and that by structure itself, lightness and portability, avoids this weed proliferation without affecting the carrier. The manufacturing material of the anti-proliferation mats is preferably plastic but is not subject to this condition also can be made of different materials that meet the following conditions: that does not allow the passage of light, specific conditioning weight, docility, elasticity, permeability. These properties result in a material that is resistant to weathering abrasion and rough handling conditions.El tapete anti proliferación de maleza es un dispositivo que evita la proliferación de maleza en plántulas en crecimiento y que por ende son susceptibles de invasión de dicha maleza restándole nutrientes así como luz solar, es un tapete del tipo que se acopla a un tallo arborícola de diámetro variable en función a su crecimiento y que por estructura misma, ligereza y portabilidad, evita dicha proliferación de maleza sin afectar al portante. El material de fabricación de los tapetes anti proliferación de maleza es preferentemente plástico mas no se sujeta a esta condicionante pudiendo ser de materiales diversos que cumplan con las siguientes condiciones: paso nulo de luz, peso específico condicionante, docilidad, elasticidad, permeabilidad. Dichas propiedades redundan en un material resistente a la abrasión del interperismo y las condiciones de manejo rudo.
