The purpose of the present invention is to control an operating member by a light operating force even when a dragging force increases in a drag mechanism for a fishing reel. The drag mechanism (23) is to brake the rotation of a spool (12) for line winding of a both-bearing reel (100) in a line release direction. The drag mechanism (23) comprises a drive shaft (30) with a first male screw portion (30f), a star drag (3), a friction mechanism (4), and a fluoride resin-containing electroless nickel plating film (90). The star drag (3) has a female screw portion (3d) screw coupled to the first male screw portion (30f). The friction mechanism (4) is to have changes in friction force by rotation of the star drag (3), and to brake the rotation of the spool (12) in the line release direction. The fluoride resin-containing electroless nickel plating film (90) is formed on the first male screw portion (30f).本發明的課題係在於針對釣魚用捲線器的拖曳機構,即使拖曳力變大,也能以輕操作力操作操作構件。用以解決課題之手段為,拖曳機構(23)為能夠制動雙軸承捲線器(100)的捲線用捲筒(12)之釣線反覆送出方向的旋轉之機構。拖曳機構(23)係具備有:具有第1公螺紋部(30f)之驅動軸(30);星形釣力閥(3);摩擦機構(4);及含氟樹脂之無電解鍍鎳皮膜(90)。星形釣力閥(3)具有螺合於第1公螺紋部(30f)的母螺紋部(3d)。摩擦機構(4)為藉由使星形釣力閥(3)轉動,讓摩擦力改變而可制動捲筒(12)的釣線反覆送出方向之旋轉的機構。含氟樹脂之無電解鍍鎳皮膜(90)係形成於第1公螺紋部(30f)。
