The drag mechanism (23) comprises a drive shaft (30) with a first male screw portion (30f), a star drag (3), a friction mechanism (4), and a fluoride resin-containing electroless nickel plating film (90). The star drag (3) has a female screw portion (3d) screw coupled to the first male screw portion (30f). The friction mechanism (4) is to have changes in friction force by rotation of the star drag (3), and to brake the rotation of the spool (12) in the line release direction.
