The present invention relates to methods and compositions for the preventionand treatment of herpes virus infections. The invention provides antigenicpeptides, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising complexes of antigenicpeptides and adjuvants that can activate an immune response against herpesviruses. The invention also provides methods of making the antigenic peptidesand complexes of antigenic peptides and adjuvants. Methods of use of thepharmaceutical compositions are also provided.
