The exemplary embodiments herein provide an electrocardiograph device having a harness with a slot and an electrode comprising an electrode body, a proximate base extending away from the electrode body, and a conductive post extending away from the proximate base and located within the slot, said conductive post preferably having a shaft which connects to a distal tip.
