PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can attain exquisite printing at a low cost and more aesthetic appearance, and, at the same time, can allow absorbed bodily waste to be concealed or to be made unnoticeable by a camouflage effect.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes an absorber 4, a surface sheet 3, and a printed sheet 6 interposed between the surface sheet 3 and the absorber 4. The printed sheet 6 is formed of tissue paper on which printing with water-based ink is provided. The print in the printed sheet 6 is configured to be visible from an external surface of the absorbent article. The printed sheet 6 is configured as follows. The printed sheet 6 has both a portion printed with the water-based ink and a portion printed with oil-based ink.
