PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inactivating a pathogen in a sample by a treatment with formalin and UV light.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for inactivating virus by treating a virus-containing sample with effective concentration of formalin and by treating the sample with an effective dose of UV light in a flow-through apparatus. The invention specifically relates to a method for inactivating a virus contained in a sample.
