PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartilage marker which specifically binds to a cartilage tissue and a cartilage marker detectable on its basis.
SOLUTION: The cartilage marker comprises a polyarginine peptide having 6-20 arginine residues or a polylysine peptide, and the cartilage marker further comprises a fluorescent substance or other signal-making means which are directly or indirectly bound with the polyarginine peptide or the polylysine peptide.
