The present invention relates to a liquid pharmaceutical composition for oral administration and its use, wherein said composition comprises: (i) a therapeutically effective amount of desloratadine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof； (ii) a therapeutically effective amount of prednisolone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof； (iii) a set of pharmaceutically acceptable excipients wherein the employed flavoring agent excipient being free of vanillin or a derivative thereof, and wherein the pH of said composition is maintained at a value in the range between 6.0 and 7.5.In the preferred embodiment, the composition of the invention is an antihistaminic composition for oral administration in the form of sugar-free syrups, intended for pediatric use.
