PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for picking up dog droppings, easily handled, having an excellent function of picking up droppings, compact, lightweight, and easy to carry.SOLUTION: A circular-arc cylinder (1) is constructed so that the edge parts (9a, 9b) of a pair of elastic circular-arc bodies (2a, 2b) are arranged side by side with a small gap between them to form a pair of bonding parts (10a, 10b), the bonding parts are bonded by sticking thin plates (3), and the bonding parts are opened and closed at the same time like a hinge. In this structure, a pair of shock absorbing plates (4a, 4b) are installed inside the base part (7) of the circular-arc cylinder (1).
