PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for manufacturing the structure capable of maintaining high strength even at a high temperature in a structure having a high degree of freedom in shape at the time of modeling. According to the present invention, the structure is provided with a base material layer and a coating layer, and the base material layer is formed of a thermoplastic material having thermoplasticity, wherein the thermoplastic material is formed. The shape of the coating layer is variably configured by applying an external force. The coating layer is formed of a non-thermoplastic material having no thermoplasticity, and the structure is formed by covering at least a part of the base material layer. A structure is provided that is configured to maintain the shape of the body.
