According to the present invention, a body composition analysis device comprises: an impedance measuring unit for measuring impedance by making a measuring electrode come in contact with at least a portion of the body of a measurement target； and a control unit for imaging the body of the measurement object to extract length information of each body part or receive input length information of the body part, and calculating a body composition using the length information of each body part corresponding to an impedance value of each body part. According to the present invention, in calculating the body composition by measuring the impedance of the human body, it is possible to increase accuracy by analyzing the body composition by reflecting information on arm length, leg length, and torso length of the body as well as the height of the measurement object.본 발명의 체성분 분석 장치는, 측정 대상자의 적어도 신체 일 부위에 측정용 전극부를 접촉하여 임피던스를 측정하는 임피던스 측정부； 상기 측정 대상자의 신체를 촬영하여 각 신체 부위의 길이 정보를 추출하거나 또는 입력된 신체 부위의 길이 정보를 수신하고, 상기 각 신체 부위의 임피던스 값과 대응하는 상기 각 신체 부위의 길이 정보를 이용하여 체성분을 산출하는 제어부를 포함하는 점에 그 특징이 있다.본 발명에 따르면, 인체 임피던스를 측정하여 체성분을 산출하는데 있어서, 측정대상자의 신장값 뿐만 아니라 신체의 팔, 다리 길이 및 몸통 길이 정보를 반영하여 체성분을 분석함으로써 보다 정확도를 높일 수 있다.
