The disclosure relates to a method for preparing an aqueous mixture of glyphosate salts and nitrogen bases. The method comprises forming a homogeneous mixture of at least two nitrogen bases and reacting this mixture with glyphosate acid in an aqueous medium to provide an aqueous mixture of glyphosate salt wherein the concentration of glyphosate is at least 500 gae/L (glyphosate acid equivalence per litre). The nitrogen base is selected from the group consisting of ammonia, ammonia, C1 to C10 alkylamine, di-(C1 to C6 alkyl)amine, tri-(C1 to C6 alkyl)amine, C1 to C10 alkanolamine, C1 to C6 alkyl(C1 to C6 alkanol)amines and di-(C1 to C6 alkyl)C1 to C6 alkanolamines. The mole ratio of the at least two nitrogen bases:glyphosate acid is from 0.9:1 to 1.3:1. The disclosure also refers to method for preparing mixtures further including other acid herbicides, which may include dicamba, clopyralid, 2,4-D, MCPA and mecoprop. The mixture may further include surfactants.
