PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form leg cylindrical parts of an absorbent article of a trunks type.SOLUTION: At the upper part of a leg sheet member 43, a continuous part where a first central part 431a of a first leg sheet part 431 and a second central part 432a of a second leg sheet part 432 continue is provided. The leg sheet member 43 is formed by folding the first let sheet part 431 and the second leg sheet part 432 twice and folding back two second side parts 432b of the second leg sheet part 432 in a width direction respectively. First side parts 431b of the leg sheet member 43 are fixed to one side of a first slit 411 and a second slit 421 in the width direction. The two second side parts 432b are fixed to the other side of the first slit 411 and the second slit 421 in the width direction. Since a side edge part 510 of a first sheet member 51 and a side edge part 520 of a second sheet member 52 are fixed to each other, a pair of leg openings can be formed easily.
