PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for storing coated seeds which can retain a high germination rate and can simultaneously control the occurrence of seedling quality abnormality, and to provide a sealed product.SOLUTION: The method for storing coated seeds includes storing the coated seeds prepared by coating the surfaces of the seeds with at least one of inorganic powder and a resin in an atmosphere of an inert gas. The inert gas is preferably nitrogen gas, helium gas, carbon dioxide gas or argon gas.
