PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle production apparatus which can stably collect particles, and can prevent cohesion of particles to each other to produce particles having narrow particle size distribution.SOLUTION: A particle production apparatus includes: droplet forming means which has at least one discharge hole and discharges a resin composition liquid containing a resin and a solvent from the discharge hole to form droplets； particle forming means which dries and solidifies the droplets in an air flow to form particles； particle collecting means which collects the solidified particles from a gas phase； and air flow temperature lowering means which lowers the temperature of an air flow flowing into the particle collecting means.
