The device for screening growing plants in a greenhouse comprises a number of screens (13), which for opening and closing are coupled by at least one operating component. The screens are accommodated to extend between two joists (11) of the greenhouse. The coupling between the screens and the operating component comprises a transversal frame (14), which with the movement of the operating component causes the screens to move. A screen is formed in two parts (41,42) mutually coupled by an intermediate frame (40). The parts have the same extension direction. The length of both screen parts is particularly greater than the distance between two joist beams.
