[Problem] To provide a pharmaceutical composition containing a substituted phenanthrene compound, which has a superior cancer cell proliferation inhibitory effect compared with known substituted phenanthrene compounds each having a cancer cell proliferation inhibitory effect.[Solution] The present invention is accomplished on the basis of a finding that a substituted phenanthrene compound represented by formula (I) has a superior cancer cell proliferation inhibitory effect compared with known substituted phenanthrene compounds each having a cancer cell proliferation inhibitory effect and has no adverse side effect.La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique contenant un composé de type phénanthrène substitué, qui présente un effet inhibiteur sur la prolifération des cellules cancéreuses supérieur à celui des composés de type phénanthrène substitué déjà connus ayant un effet inhibiteur sur la prolifération des cellules cancéreuses. La présente invention résulte donc dune découverte selon laquelle un composé de type phénanthrène substitué de formule (I) présente un effet inhibiteur sur la prolifération des cellules cancéreuses supérieur à celui des composés de type phénanthrène substitué déjà connus ayant un effet inhibiteur sur la prolifération des cellules cancéreuses.
