Provided are a method and an apparatus to recognize biological conditions using an electrode having improved impedance. The biological condition recognizing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an EEG sensor, an ECG sensor, an EEG signal processing unit, an ECG signal processing unit, and a processor which determines biological conditions based on EEG and ECG, wherein the electrode of the EEG sensor and the electrode of the ECG sensor are textile electrodes using conductive thread. Thereby an accurate biological signal can be sensed by overcoming high skin impedance using an electrode having improved impedance.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015임피던스가 향상된 전극을 이용한 생체 상황 인지 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 생체 상황 인지장치는, EEG 센서, ECG 센서, EEG 신호처리부, ECG 신호처리부 및 신호처리된 EEG와 ECG를 기반으로 생체 상황을 판단하는 프로세서를 포함하고, EEG 센서의 전극과 ECG 센서의 전극은 전도사를 이용한 직물 전극이다. 이에 의해, 임피던스가 향상된 전극을 이용하여 높은 피부 임피던스를 극복하여 정확한 생체 신호 센싱이 가능해진다.
