PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for blood processing capable of sufficiently reducing the loss of a material caused in a manufacturing process, and achieving a higher blood recovery than conventional filters.
SOLUTION: The filter for blood processing includes: a sheet-like filter material, a container that is made of a flexible material and houses a filter material a joint part which is formed over the whole circumference of the peripheral part of the filter material, and defines a blood processing domain by joining the filter material and the container in the thickness direction of the filter an inlet provided in a surface of the container and an outlet provided in another surface of the container. The shape of the joint part is a hexagon, and the shape of the filter material is also a hexagon.
