PURPOSE: A method for preparing co-crystals of cabamazepine-saccharin is provided to improve solubility and release rate of the corresponding drugs.CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing co-crystals of cabamazepine-saccharin comprises the steps of: dissolving carbamazepine and saccharin in an organic solvent selected among methanol, ethanol, and acetone and preparing a solution adding an anti-solvent to the solution closing a cover and stirring the mixture and filtering the mixture by reduced pressure and collecting crystallized particles. The composition has a property peak at 6.9 degrees and 14.9 degrees. The composition has differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) peak at 177.5°C.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013카바마제핀-사카린 공결정, 이의 제조 방법 및 이를 포함하는 약학적 조성물이 개시되어 있다. 본 발명에 따른 카바마제핀-사카린 공결정은 (i) 카바마제핀과 사카린을 에틸아세테이트, 메틸아세테이트, 에탄올, 메탄올 및 아세톤으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 용매에 용해시켜 용액을 제조하는 단계 (ii) 상기 (i) 단계의 용액에 정제수를 반용매로 첨가하는 단계 및 (iii) 상기 (ii) 단계의 용액을 뚜껑을 덮은 상태로 교반하고, 감압 여과하여 결정화된 입자를 수득하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하여, 카바마제핀 공결정에 비해 해당 약물의 용해도와 용출속도를 크게 향상시킬 수 있다.
