A device for dispensing a powder of the type wherein the generated gas stream entrains the powder and carries output from the powder from the device through the cylinder, wherein the cylinder has an opening, comprising a body portion with a continuous internal surface, characterized in that (a) the length of the main portion, at least fifteen times greater than its maximum internal diameter and (b) a cylinder having a flared outwardly facing output portion and (c) the inner hole body portion optionally has a tapered formu.2.
