The present invention relates to a method for extracting and analyzing a main usage pattern of adult groups using a smartphone and predicting a personal overdependence risk by using the same and an apparatus thereof. According to an aspect of the present invention, the method comprises: a first step of classifying a plurality of applications used in a terminal into a plurality of categories according to a preset standard a second step of collecting a plurality of data related to the use of terminals of a plurality of users a third step of generating first data by dividing the plurality of data into units of each of the applications a fourth step of generating second data by reducing the first data into a unit of each of the plurality of categories a fifth step of extracting patterns related to the use of the terminals of the plurality of users by using the second data a sixth step of generating a model for determining overdependence of the users on terminals by repeating the first to fifth steps to extract a plurality of patterns a seventh step of collecting third data related to a first user among the plurality of users and an eighth step of determining overdependence of the first user on a terminal by using the model and the third data.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018본 발명은 스마트폰을 이용하는 성인 군들의 주요 사용 패턴을 추출 및 분석하고, 이를 이용하여 개인별 과의존 위험 예측하는 방법 및 장치에 대한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 양상인 단말 과의존 예측 방법은, 단말에서 이용되는 복수의 어플리케이션을 미리 설정된 기준에 따라 복수의 카테고리로 분류하는 제 1 단계 복수의 사용자의 상기 단말 사용과 관련된 복수의 데이터를 수집하는 제 2 단계 상기 복수의 데이터를 상기 복수의 어플리케이션 각각의 단위로 구분하여 제 1 데이터를 생성하는 제 3 단계 상기 제 1 데이터를 상기 복수의 카테고리 각각의 단위로 축소하여 제 2 데이터를 생성하는 제 4 단계 상기 제 2 데이터를 이용하여 상기 복수의 사용자의 상기 단말 사용과 관련된 패턴을 추출하는 제 5 단계 상기 제 1 단계 내지 제 5 단계를 반복하여 복수의 패턴을 추출함으로써, 상기 복수의 사용자의 단말 과의존 여부를 판단하기 위한 모델(model)을 생성하는 제 6 단계 상기 복수의 사용자 중 제 1 사용자와 관련된 제 3 데이터를 수집하는 제 7 단계 상기 모델 및 상기 제 3 데이터를 이용하여 상기 제 1 사용자의 상기 단말 과의존 여부를 판단하는 제 8 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
