A wearable system may comprise a wireless, battery-free sensor configured to detect one or more characteristic features of a wearer's skin and communicate information relating to the one or more characteristic features of the wearer's skin to a reader. The reader may be coupled to the wireless, battery-free sensor. The reader may also be configured to collect the information related to the detected one or more characteristic features of the wearer's skin. The wearable system may be configured to measure the hydration level of a user's skin. A kit may also comprise the wearable system and one or more products.
