Lyophilized composition for treating staphylococcus infections contains a mixture of antibacterial proteins capable of cell destruction specific for at least one or all of the following: Staphylococcus arlettae, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus auricularis, Staphylococcus carnosus, Staphylococcus carprae, Staphylococcus chromogenes, Staphylococcus cohnii, Staphylococcus delphini, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus equorum, Staphylococcus gallinarum, Staphylococcus haemolyticus, Staphylococcus hominis, Staphylococcus intermedius, Staphylococcus kloosii, Staphylococcus lentus, Staphylococcus lugdunensis, Staphylococcus muscae, Staphylococcus pasteuri, Staphylococcus saprophyticus, Staphylococcus warneri and Staphylococcus xylosus, and also contains poloxamer, sugar and amino acid. Said mixture consists of a first antibacterial protein consisting of the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, and a second antibacterial protein consisting of the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 2.
