PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operation of inputting shells in a drilling device and to improve the drilling operation.SOLUTION: In the device for drilling shells with a revolving drill blade at a drilling part of shells, the device comprises: an endless transportation body that vertically transports shells； and a motor-driven drill. The transportation body is provided, in the travelling direction of the transportation body, with two or more receiving parts in which shells can be vertically put in piece by piece, and the receiving parts have an upper opening feeding port. The motor-driven drill synchronously moves in the same direction and the same speed as the shells transported by the transportation body to continuously drill with the drill blade at the drilling part of the shells being transported. The drill returns to the original position by receding from the shells after completion of the drilling, and is made to drill a hole in the drilling part of the shells that are transported succeedingly by the transportation body.【課題】 孔あけ装置への貝の投入作業が容易で、貝孔あけ作業の向上を図る。【解決手段】 貝の孔あけ部に回転中のドリル刃で孔をあける貝孔あけ装置において、貝を縦向きで搬送する無端状の搬送体と、電動ドリルを備え、搬送体は貝を一個ずつ縦向きに投入できる受け部を、搬送体の走行方向に二以上備え、受け部は上方開口の投入口を備え、電動ドリルは搬送体で搬送される貝と同方向に同速で同期移動して、搬送中の貝の孔あけ部にドリル刃で孔をあけ続け、ドリル刃が孔あけ完了後に貝から抜けてから元の位置に戻って、搬送体により次に搬送されてくる貝の孔あけ部に孔をあけることができるようにした。【選択図】図１
