A potato planting unit consisting of a multipurpose spatial frame with support wheels and a mounting, on which the following elements are mounted: a drive of the working elements from a PTO shaft of a tractor, a unit for applying mineral fertilizers, tuber dressers (chemical preparatins), a beat with drip irrigation hoses, a reserve seed tank and beams with a set of working elements. Semi-ridges of 12- in height, 25- in width by upper thereof, which is formed with the aid of a double-tier A-hoe blade, coulters, arranged in series on the beams of the machine, spring-loaded, in such a manner as to allow fixing thereof, directed inside one opposite the other by a double-plate ridger, the plates of which come in contact with soil. One plate of the ridger is longer by two times than the other, a short plate is arranged at an angle of 25-40 deg, approximately to the longitudinal axis of a ridge.
