An endotracheal tube assembly for intubating a patient including a fixed distal cuff and a proximal rolling cuff positionable on a tube having a distal end and a proximal end. The rolling cuff having a single attachment portion along the tube to allow the rolling cuff to roll from the distal end of the tube towards to the proximal end of the tube as it contacts the supraglottic structure and/or vocal cords of a patient. The proximal end of the tube being configured to include an adaptor to connect the tube to a ventilation device that provides an air/oxygen mixture or anesthetic to the patient through the tube.La présente invention concerne un ensemble canule endotrachéale pour l'intubation d'un patient, comprenant un manchon fixe distal et un manchon roulant proximal pouvant être placé sur une canule pourvue d'une extrémité distale et d'une extrémité proximale. Ledit manchon roulant présente une partie de fixation unique le long de la canule, qui permet le roulement du manchon roulant depuis l'extrémité distale de la canule en direction de l'extrémité proximale de ladite canule lorsqu'elle entre en contact avec la structure supraglottique et/ou les cordes vocales d'un patient. L'extrémité proximale de la canule est conçue pour inclure un adaptateur destiné à relier la canule à un dispositif de ventilation qui procure un mélange air/oxygène ou un anesthésique au patient par le biais de la canule.
