PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural work vehicle equipped with a readily usable changeover operation tool capable of optionally performing turning on and off operation of a backing and lifting means irrespective of an operative position of a lifting and lowering operation tool.SOLUTION: The agricultural work vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder 4 for a seedling planting apparatus 2, the lifting and lowering operation tool 55 which operates the hydraulic cylinder 4 and is artificially operated, a hydraulic type infinite variable-speed drive 21, and a speed change operating tool 33 which operates the hydraulic type infinite variable-speed drive 21 and is artificially operated. Furthermore, a backing and lifting means for making the seedling planting apparatus 2 perform lifting operation when the speed change operation tool 33 is operated to the backing neutral position is installed.
