PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a levee plastering machine movable into a working position and a non-working position by turning a pretreatment body and a levee adjusting body, and provided with a clutch at a rotating shaft in the turning position to connect and release connection.SOLUTION: (1) A base end 7a of a chain case 7 transmitting power to the pretreatment body 8 and levee adjusting body 9 of the levee plastering machine 1 is provided with the rotating shaft 17, and the pretreatment body 8 and levee adjusting body 9 are simultaneously turned to select the working position and the non-working position. The rotating shaft 17 is provided with the clutch automatically connected and disconnected when the levee plastering machine 1 is turned into the working position and the non-working position. (2) A hitch frame 15 and the base end 7a of the chain case are connected to each other by a length-adjustable connecting member 27 so as to be vertically turnable within a vertical plane. (3) A turning assisting device is provided for assisting the turning operation of the chain case 7, and a locking device 28 is provided for locking the levee plastering machine 1 into positions for selecting the working position and the non-working position.
