The present invention relates to a composition including a glucose and fatty acid ester, in particular consisting of vitamin F in combination with a compound of general formula (I), or one of the salts thereof: (I), where R1 and R2 are, independently, a hydrogen atom, a saturated or unsaturated, straight or branched C1-C18 aliphatic hydrocarbon radical, or a C6-C18 aryl radical, at least one of the groups R1 and R2 being different from a hydrogen atom. The invention also relates to the use of such a composition for inducing and/or stimulating the growth of human keratin fibers and/or inhibiting the loss thereof and/or increasing the density thereof.
