The method according to the embodiments of the present invention includes: establishing a Bluetooth low energy BLE link between a front-end monitoring device and a back-end monitoring device receiving, by the front-end monitoring device by using the BLE link, a first body temperature value sent by the back-end monitoring device measuring, by the front-end monitoring device, body temperature of a monitoring person to obtain a second body temperature value and determining, by the front-end monitoring device according to a variation of the first body temperature value relative to the second body temperature value, whether first prompt information needs to be generated.
