PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking promoting device in which the skin right above sacrum is stimulated by continuous energization, and the walking is efficiently promoted by properly adjusting a walking speed, a walking figure (way of walking), a step, a lower leg joint angle and a walking cycle (step count in a constant period of time), and thereby to provide a walking function promoting/improving device that improves a walking function of a walking handicapped person, etc.SOLUTION: A walking promoting device is characterized by: having a pair of electrodes attached on a skin part right above both sides of a sacrum center and having a walking promoting device body to output desired electrical stimulation waves to electrodes using unipolar negative rectangular waves or bipolar rectangular waves with pulse width of 1-500 μ second as the electrical stimulation waves using a stimulus frequency in the range of 0.5-3 Hz to a patient having a Parkinsons disease and Parkinsonism due to multiple system atrophy and using the stimulus frequency of 20 Hz-5 kHz to a healthy person and a person of walking handicapped person or difficulty in walking due to other disease to thereby output the electrical stimulation waves.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明の歩行促進装置は、仙骨直上皮膚を連続通電で刺激して、歩行速度、歩容(歩行の仕方)、歩幅、下肢関節角度および歩行周期(一定時間での歩数)を適切に調節して歩行を効率よく促進させることにより、歩行障害者などの歩行機能を改善する歩行機能促進及び改善装置を提供するものである。【解決手段】仙骨中央両側の直上皮膚部に貼着する一対の電極を有すると共に、所望の電気刺激波を電極に出力する歩行促進装置本体を有し、電気刺激波としてパルス幅1~500μ秒の単極性負性矩形波又は双極性矩形波を用い、パーキンソン病や多系統萎縮症によりパーキンソニズムを有する患者には0.5~3Hzの範囲内の刺激周波数を用い、健常者や他の疾患による歩行障害者又は歩行困難者には20Hz~5kHzの刺激周波数を用いて電気刺激波を出力する。【選択図】図1
