The present invention relates to a device for adjusting the horseshoes and a method of adjusting said horseshoes. As shown in the figure for the abstract, the device comprises a square steel plate provided with a central vertical axis and an adjustable clamping system from the axis to the upper edge of the steel plate. This plate serves as a support for the horseshoe. As for the clamping system, it makes it possible to immobilize the horseshoe and thus facilitates the work of the blacksmith on this horseshoe. The device further comprises an "L" machined steel part rotating about the axis and provided with a double-acting hydraulic cylinder (pushed and pulled) and a hydraulic vice. The present invention aims to facilitate and accelerate the work of the blacksmith. La présente invention concerne un dispositif destiné à l'ajustage des fers à cheval ainsi qu'un procédé d'ajustage desdits fers à cheval. Comme représenté à la figure pour l'abrégé, le dispositif comporte une plaque en acier carrée muni d'un axe vertical central et d'un système de serrage ajustable depuis l'axe jusqu'au bord supérieur de la plaque d'acier. Cette plaque sert de support au fer à cheval. Quant au système de serrage, il permet d'immobiliser le fer à cheval et facilite donc le travail du maréchal-ferrant sur ce fer à cheval. Le dispositif comporte en outre une pièce en acier usinée en « L » tournant autour de l'axe et munie d'un vérin hydraulique à double effet (poussé et traction) et d'un étau hydraulique. La présente invention a pour but de faciliter et d'accélérer le travail du maréchal-ferrant.
