<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mulching machine with which a mulching film can be closely laid over the upper surface of a ridge even when the upper surface has unevenness. ??<P>SOLUTION: The mulching machine is structured as follows: a mulching film-laying device 4 laying a mulching film M over a ridge U is mounted at the back of a rotary machine frame 3 supporting a rotary cultivating/mixing part 2; the mulching film-laying device 4 is provided with a film role 5, a guide member 6 guiding the mulching film M rolled out from the film role 5 to the ridge U, and a pressing member 7 pressing the mulching film M against the upper surface of the ridge U.
