PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method of a diaphragm and an endoscope device capable of inspecting an opening shape of the diaphragm easily and surely with the diaphragm assembled.
SOLUTION: This inspection method of the diaphragm for inspecting the diaphragm assembled into an optical apparatus having an optical system for acquiring an image of a specimen includes: an irradiation process S2 for arranging an inspection light source for emitting inspection light on the furthermore image surface side of the optical system than the diaphragm, and irradiating a range covering the opening of the diaphragm with the inspection light and an inspection process S5 for imaging an image of the opening by the inspection light passing the diaphragm, and inspecting the diaphragm based on the shape of the image.
