PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide preparation particles composing a pseudoephedrine-mixed sustained release preparation which is dosed as a granule agent or a dispersing agent as it is, is provided as a capsule by encapsulating it in a gelatin hard capsule, has a suitable size without enlarging these preparations when mixed with other excipients, subjected to compression molding and made into a tablet, does not require considerable time in the production thereof, causes elution of pseudoephedrine or a salt thereof to be delayed when applied with film coating, and retains the drug effect of pseudoephedrine over a long period of time directly after dosing by combining with immediately release pseudoephedrine-containing preparation particles, for example preparation particles without being applied with film coating.SOLUTION: The preparation particle does not include nuclear particles made of only an excipient, includes pseudoephedrine or a salt thereof and the excipient, has a mean particle diameter of 500 to 1,500 &mum, has a geometric standard deviation of particle size distribution of 1.4 or less, and has spheroidicity of 0.7 or higher.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】そのまま顆粒剤や散剤として服用したり、ゼラチン硬カプセルに封入してカプセル剤としたり、他の賦形剤と混合し圧縮成形して錠剤とする場合に、それらの製剤が大型化しない適度なサイズを有し、その製造にも多大の時間を要せず、フィルムコーティングを施した場合には、プソイドエフェドリン又はその塩の溶出を遅延させ、即放性のプソイドエフェドリン含有粒子、例えば、フィルムコーティングを施していない製剤粒子と組み合わせることによって、プソイドエフェドリンの薬効が投与直後から長時間に亘って持続する、プソイドエフェドリン配合徐放性製剤を構成する製剤粒子を提供する。【解決手段】賦形剤のみからなる核粒子がなく、プソイドエフェドリン又はその塩と賦形剤とからなり、平均粒子径が500~1500μmで、粒度分布の幾何標準偏差が1.4以下であり、球形度が0.7以上であることを特徴とする製剤粒子。【選択図】なし
