The method of delivery of the substance for electrophoresis to the eardrum of a human or animal’s ear, comprising introducing an ear swab into the external auditory canal of the patient； hermetically sealing a portion of the flexible sealing element of the ear swab in the external auditory canal to create a cavity between the ear swab and the eardrum； the introduction of an electrophoresis substance into the earplug to fill the cavity between the earplug and the eardrum； the pressure in the cavity increases during the introduction of the electrophoresis substance, and the fluid is removed from the cavity through the microholes in the flexible sealing element to reduce pressure. 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the microholes are configured to divert the fluid when the threshold pressure value is exceeded. The method according to claim 2, in which the microholes are performed in such a way as to prevent the removal of fluid under hydrostatic pressure. The method according to claim 1, in which the fluid is diverted into the pressure chamber of the ear swab. The method according to claim 1, further comprising introducing an electrode device into an earplug for contacting an electrode tip of the electrode device with an electrophoresis substance； and supplying energy to an electrode device for anesthetizing the eardrum using an electrophoresis substance. 6. The method according to claim 5, in which the tip of the electrode is electrically connected to the electrode of the ear swab, and energy from the electrode device is supplied to the ear swab electrode.
