PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical unit capable of adjusting positions of treatment elements with respect to a user.SOLUTION: Both ends of a tilting shaft 22 supporting a drive part 50 and a rotation shaft 23 related to the tilting of the driver part are supported by two independent base frames 25, 26. A largeness of a direction that is perpendicular to the tilting shaft and the rotation shaft and also corresponds to the front and rear direction of a backrest part in the respective base frames is allowed to be larger than a largeness of a direction that is parallel to the tilting shaft and the rotation shaft. Consequently, even in a state where force to change the mutual position relation between the tilting shaft and the rotation shaft from a drive part side is applied to the base frames, the position relation between the tilting shaft and the rotation shaft is kept without deforming the base frames to thereby keep a proper state concerning the connection and linkage of respective mechanism parts.
