PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply an optimum pressure to a treating part.SOLUTION: A first detection part 34 of a massage device 10 detects a pressure applied to a treating part by an actuator put on the treating part. A second detection part 36 detects pulse waves of the treating part. A first drive control part 64 executes control of transmitting first drive signals for increasing the pressure to be applied to the treating part to the actuator. On the basis of a change amount of an amplitude of the pulse waves with respect to the change of the pressure detected while the first drive signals are transmitted to the actuator, a setting part 60 sets the maximum pressure to be applied to the treating part, and also transmits a pressurization release signal for releasing pressurization to the treating part to the actuator.
