The flying insect pest catching device 100 includes: an attractive part 10 for attracting flying insect pests a base 20 for supporting the attractive part 10, and a tray 50 for housing a chemical holder 40 in which the attractive ingredients are held. The attractive part 20 has edge parts 11 having a projecting cross section projecting outward, and opened parts 12 adjacent to the edge parts 11.
