A treatment planning system (106) for generating treatment boundaries for a particular patient, said system (106) comprising: one or more processors (142) programmed to: accept a radiation therapy plan (RTP) to irradiate the target (122) in during one or more treatment fractions, said RTP including one or more treatment boundaries around the target (122) and the planned distribution of the dose to be delivered to the target (122); to receive movement data for at least one of the treatment fractions by RTP ; calculate dose distribution with motion compensation for the target (122), using motion data to adjust the planned dose distribution based on the received motion data; compare the dose distribution with motion compensation with the planned dose distribution. 2. The system (106) according to claim 1, in which the processors (142) are further configured to adjust the boundaries of the treatment based on dosimetric differences between the dose distribution with motion compensation and the planned dose distribution, said adjustment including: identification of cold spots and / or hot spots between motion-compensated dose distribution and planned dose distribution; expansion in response to identifying a cold spot in at least one of the treatment boundaries closest to the cold th site; the restriction in response to the identification of the hot place at least one of the boundaries of the treatment, the nearest to the hot place; and, narrowing of at least one of the treatment boundaries in response to minor dose differences between dose distribution with motion compensation1.
